The role involves NAV calculations, reconciliations, corporate actions, and close coordination with administrators and auditors. A strong MS Office skill set and high attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in financial institutions/hedge funds preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly NAV calculations.
• Review and confirm NAV as prepared by fund administrator.
• Process payment instructions, expense calculations, and other fund accounting tasks.
• Assist in year-end financial statements preparation in line with IFRS and coordinate annual audit.
• Reconcile cash and positions and resolve discrepancies.
• Process corporate actions and trade matching after market close.
• Monitor trade settlements and resolve related issues.
• Ensure trade instructions are in place for fund administrators and Prime brokers.
• Organize the office and support day-to-day administrative matters to optimize processes.

Job description

Your primary responsibilities are to assist the Firm's Fund Accounting / Fund Operations. You will work in a small and tight knit team where you will make an impact by contributing to ad hoc projects and undertaking additional areas of responsibilities in the investment team,.

Key responsibilities

Perform monthly NAV calculations

Review and confirm monthly NAV as prepared by fund administrator

Process payment instructions, expense calculations, and other fund accounting work

Help with the preparation of year-end financial statements in-line with IFRS standard, and coordinate annual audit with auditor

Cash and position reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies

Process corporate actions

Trade matching after markets close

Monitor trade settlements, including resolution of problems

Ensure trade instructions in place for fund administrators and Prime brokers

Organize the office and assist the team with day-to-day administrative matters to optimize processes

About you

BS/BA university degree

1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably supporting financial institutions/hedge funds

Must be a team player

Hard working and able to undertake a variety of office support tasks

Sound analytical and problem solving skills

Highly organized, pro-active and detail-oriented

Ability to work diligently under pressure, and meet deadlines

Fluent in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of office equipment
