Job summary

Inhabit Group in Hong Kong seeks a junior design support technician to provide 2D drafting and design support for 3D detailing during design development.

You will produce façade system details from sketches, work closely with the design team and managers, and participate in concept, detailed, and tender package development. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM (Revit or Rhino) on building projects.
• Degree or diploma in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Familiar with 3D design tools (AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp Pro).
• Knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin a plus.

Producing details of façade systems based on architectural sketches.

Working closely with other team members to produce concept, detailed and tender packages.

Development of own skills in design, engineering, materials, etc.

Communicating regularly with design team and manager.

Attending meetings with architects and contractors.

Qualifications

• At least one year BIM (Revit or Rhino) experience on building industry
• Degree or diploma holder of mechanical / civil / structural engineering
• Proficiency in MS office
• Knowledge of 3D design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup Pro, etc.)
• Knowledge of graphic software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
