Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced professional for an engineering design role in Hong Kong. The candidate should possess a Bachelor degree in Engineering and have over 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a main contractor. Responsibilities include coordinating design matters and obtaining approvals from consultants. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of BIM Revit being an advantage. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.

Qualifications

• Professional Membership (e.g. HKIA / HKIE / ICE / IStructE) preferred.
• 10+ years experience in engineering design works preferred in main contractor.
• Knowledge in MiC is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD; BIM Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledge of MiC is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Liaise and coordinate with external and internal parties for resolving design matters including design checking, review and submission;
• Perform design checking to ensure the drawing submission fulfills the architectural and contract requirements;
• Responsibe for obtaining design approval from the consultants and Buildings Department

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder in Architectural / Building / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent;
• Professional Membership (e.g. HKIA / HKIE / ICE / IStructE) is preferred;
• Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering design works preferably gained in main contractor;
• Proficient in MS Office applications and AutoCAD is a must, having knowledge in BIM Revit will be an advantage;
• Preferable knowledge in MiC will be an advantage;
• Possess strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills;
