Renrui Human Resources Technology (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer in Hong Kong. The role focuses on installing, configuring, upgrading, and verifying private cloud environments per deployment documentation and SOPs.
You will inspect customer environments, troubleshoot issues, collect logs for root-cause analysis, and monitor metrics with Grafana/Prometheus. On-site or remote support will be provided in Hong Kong and occasional Macau.

The role involves installation, configuration, upgrading, and environment checks for private cloud products in accordance with deployment documentation and standard operating procedures. The ideal individual is a meticulous, detail-oriented technical professional with foundational Linux and networking skills, a strong service-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn private cloud operations. You will conduct routine inspections of customer environments and provide remote or on-site technical support to clients in Hong Kong and occasionally Macau.
Perform installation, configuration, upgrading, and environment checks for private cloud products in accordance with deployment documentation and standard operating procedures
Conduct routine inspections of customer environments, checking servers, application services, containers, system resources, and network connectivity
Troubleshoot common issues, including service startup failures, container anomalies, resource shortages, port connectivity issues, and application access errors
Collect system, application, container, and monitoring logs to provide complete information for subsequent root-cause analysis
Monitor key performance metrics using platforms such as Grafana and Prometheus, and promptly report any anomalies
Execute basic Kubernetes and Docker operations, including status checks, log queries, and service restarts
Maintain inspection, fault, and change logs and **escalate** unresolved issues promptly with documented problem symptoms, timestamp, impact scope, logs, and environment details
Provide remote or on-site technical support to clients in Hong Kong and Macau as assigned by the project team
Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines preferred
1+ years of experience in Linux operations, software implementation, cloud platform maintenance, or technical support
Must be legally eligible to work in Hong Kong (e.g., Hong Kong Permanent Resident, valid work visa, or other legal authorization/permit)
Must be able to communicate fluently in Cantonese for daily business operations
Able to read basic English technical documentation, product literature, and system logs
Proficient in common Linux commands to monitor processes, services, CPU, memory, disk, network, and logs
Understanding of basic Docker and Kubernetes concepts; practical hands-on experience is a plus
Solid grasp of fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, firewalls, and ports
Able to perform basic network troubleshooting using tools like ping, curl, nc, and traceroute
Meticulous and detail-oriented, capable of strictly adhering to operating procedures, with strong learning ability and a service-oriented mindset
