Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited is seeking an Associate Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Operations team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and private cloud environments.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure stability, scalability, and security of the cloud infrastructure while aligning with HKEX standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of cloud engineering experience including designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
• Understanding of cloud computing architecture and security best practices.
• Knowledge of container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with DevOps practices e.g. CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
