Job summary

PFCC Group is seeking a Java Developer to join a leading global financial services firm. You will design, build, test, and deploy Java backend and Angular front-end applications for mission-critical banking systems, taking ownership of full lifecycle delivery while optimizing performance and automating workflows.

You'll work in an agile environment, collaborating with BAs, QA, and Operations across regions to ensure reliable deployments, robust integrations, and efficient incident response.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency across PostgreSQL, Sybase, or DB2; solid Linux OS experience, including shell scripting for automated deployments.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP), n-tier architecture, and enterprise integration via REST/SOAP web services.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and application deployment in Linux environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a strong collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy Java backend and Angular front-end applications for business-critical banking systems.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub; deploy and support applications on Linux Virtual Machines (VMs).
• Manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, Sybase, DB2) and design scalable REST and SOAP web services for enterprise system integration.
• Drive full-lifecycle ownership, including system monitoring and production incident response.
• Partner with Business Analysts, QA, and Operations teams locally and globally to deliver high-quality solutions.
