Job summary

Webbe International is seeking an Institutional Sales Director to lead fundraising, investor relations, and product syndication focused on Japan coverage. You will originate, structure, and syndicate private and alternative investments to Japanese securities firms and wealth platforms.

The role requires a proven track record in institutional sales and strong Japanese network, with fluent Japanese and English and willingness to travel internationally. Based in Hong Kong, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in institutional sales, IR or fundraising in asset management/private equity/hedge funds.
• Strong network with Japanese institutional investors, banks or securities houses.
• Native/business-fluent Japanese and fluent English; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising and IR for buyside fund products with Japanese clients.
• Oversee origination, structuring, and syndication of private/alt products to Japanese partners.
• Maintain key Japanese client relationships and manage onboarding.
