Job summary

ST Engineering Mission Software & Services seeks a System Manager to lead operations, governance, delivery, security, and continuous improvement of mission-critical IT systems for government agencies, ensuring secure, available, resilient and ISO-compliant infrastructure.

You will mentor System Engineers, manage vendors and stakeholders, oversee service delivery across the system lifecycle, and drive ITIL-aligned incident, change, and risk management while reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of IT infrastructure and systems management experience.
• At least 5 years leading technical teams, vendors, or managed services.
• Experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 12207).
• Experience with government security requirements.
• Singapore public sector project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead system administration, operations, maintenance, and support for enterprise infrastructure.
• Develop system management strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans.
• Ensure compliance with government cybersecurity directives and governance frameworks.
• Oversee availability, performance, capacity, resiliency, and SLAs/OLAs.
• Lead ITIL-based incident, problem, change, release, and config management.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, and security reviews.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises.
• Provide governance for architectures, upgrades, and technology refresh.
• Manage outsourced vendors, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Coordinate audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
