Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions is seeking a network engineer to lead detailed design, prototyping, commissioning and testing of complex networked systems. You will liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure schedules are met, and you will integrate hardware and software while implementing secure, scalable network solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, implementing, testing and commissioning networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues under pressure.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments and security hardening.
• Experience with firewalls, switches, routers and network devices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects detail design, prototype, commissioning and testing completed systems.
• Liaise with Customer and internal team members to ensure good co-ordination, planning and meeting project schedule.
• Responsible for integration of both hardware & software work as well as implementation.
• Cyber security hardening, configure and manage computer systems in accordance with security requirement.
• Network infrastructure, setup and configure network switch and router.
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, and etc.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
• Meeting with clients, reports and documentation.
• Capable of performing troubleshooting independently.
