Job summary

NexusSearch International Limited is seeking an IT Manager in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end IT helpdesk operations. The successful candidate will oversee project change management and implement digital improvements aimed at optimizing service efficiency. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in IT, 5+ years in IT operations (preferably in manufacturing or retail), practical skills in network and cybersecurity, and a strong interest in AI. English fluency is required; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantages.

Job description

Manage end-to-end IT helpdesk operations as a sole IT owner, oversee IT project change management, and deliver digital and AI-driven improvements to optimize service efficiency, streamline workflows, and align IT with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily IT helpdesk operations, resolve hardware, software, network and application issues, and ensure timely ticket closure for all users.
• Plan and implement IT system changes, upgrades and deployments, follow change control processes, reduce disruption and manage risks.
• Independently run all helpdesk functions, build SOPs, and improve support efficiency and user experience.
• Maintain IT assets, software licenses and vendor partnerships to ensure stable service delivery.
• Apply AI and new technologies to upgrade helpdesk tools and change management processes.
• Ensure data security, disaster recovery and business compliance in all IT operations.
• Support and train staff on IT systems and new tools to drive smooth adoption.
• Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams to align IT plans with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of IT operations experience, manufacturing or retail background preferred.
• Knowledge or strong interest in AI and digital transformation.
• Practical skills in network, cybersecurity, ERP and cloud services.
• Strong problem‑solving, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
