Job summary

St. James’ Settlement is seeking an IT Manager to co-lead the IT Department in Wan Chai. The role focuses on strategic use of technology to drive service innovation and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate combines strategic oversight with hands-on project management and team leadership to ensure secure, scalable IT infrastructure and applications supporting service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or other related experiences
• Strong technical foundation in IT project management and digital transformation
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Planning: Lead IT strategy and execution to align with organizational goals and improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Innovation and Service Improvement: Identify technologies to enhance service delivery and guide tech-driven projects across departments.
• Cybersecurity Leadership: Drive security initiatives, risk assessments, and policy enforcement to protect data and assets.
• Project and Vendor Management: Oversee IT projects end-to-end and manage vendor relationships for quality service.
• Infrastructure and Application Management: Oversee cloud, networks, servers, and software in line with best practices.
• Team Management and Development: Develop the IT team and foster innovation and high performance.
