Job summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited is seeking an IT Production Control professional in Hong Kong. You will supervise production activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage the migration of software to production environments while enforcing standard operating procedures.

You should have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least five years’ related IT experience with strong knowledge of scalable infrastructure, release management, and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; OR
• At least 5 years’ related IT experience including supervision
• Solid knowledge of scalable, mission-critical IT infrastructure (network, storage, high availability, resilience)
• Experience in release management; PMP or ITIL certification is a plus
• Proficient in spoken & written English; Cantonese is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor Production Control processes and enforce governance
• Ensure subordinates comply with regulatory requirements
• Control program migrations to production systems
• Define and schedule production procedures
• Manage batch and printing windows
• Review procedures submitted by application/tech teams for site standards
• Monitor IT Operations service quality and adherence to SOPs
• Initiate training to develop staff skills
• Liaise with application and support teams for smooth production runs
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
• Comply with regulations and risk control guidelines
• Identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor day-to-day risks
