Job summary

Pathos Consultancy Limited in Hong Kong seeks an IT Governance & Control Manager (Banking) to define, enforce, and monitor standards across development and projects. You will ensure regulatory alignment, support audit reviews, and foster high-quality delivery within the Technology department.

The role requires 5–7 years in IT governance and a strong understanding of SDLC controls, with English proficiency; Chinese language is a plus in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in IT Governance & Control within a Technology department.
• Solid understanding of application development governance, change control, and QA/testing processes.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; Chinese is an advantage.
• Banking domain is strongly preferred; Insurance domain will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain standard procedures for application development, project management, production change control, incident and problem management.
• Enforce standards through review and examination of deliverables across the SDLC.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to IT staff on governance standards and procedures.
• Monitor critical system service availability and IT hardware/software support response times.
• Review application development deliverables to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
• Monitor the project management lifecycle to ensure proper controls are enforced.
• Ensure proper production change control for system enhancements and infrastructure changes.
• Oversee production incident handling to ensure swift recovery and SLA compliance.
• Organize induction and governance training sessions for new IT staff.
• Support internal and external auditors during IT-related audit reviews.
