Ingrid Millet Limited in Hong Kong seeks an IT Administrator to provide frontline support for head office and 60+ stores. You will assist with hardware, POS devices, networking basics, and software deployments across locations.
The role requires 1–2 years in IT support, a diploma/associate degree in IT, and solid Windows Office knowledge. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will provide administrative and frontline hardware/software support to our head office and 60+ retail store locations. You will be a crucial point of contact for routine technical queries, hardware setup, and department administrative tasks.
Hardware & Device Management: Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, POS terminals, printers, barcode scanners, and mobile devices for retail stores and head office staff.
Store IT Support: Serve as the first point of contact for daily IT inquiries from store staff; perform basic troubleshooting and elevate complex issues to vendors or senior IT personnel.
Inventory & Asset Control: Keep detailed records of IT equipment, hardware warranties, software licenses, and device assignments across all locations.
Department Administration: Handle administrative duties for the IT team, including processing purchase orders, tracking vendor invoices, preparing monthly reports, and organizing files.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and broadband/telecom services.
General Support: Assist the IT Manager with ad-hoc projects, software deployments, and system updates as required.
Diploma or Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in IT administrative or basic IT support roles (Experience in retail or multi-store operations is a strong plus; fresh graduates with strong enthusiasm are welcome).
Solid understanding of Windows OS, MS Office/Office 365, and standard computer hardware.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (routers, Wi-Fi, LAN setup).
Familiarity with POS systems or retail IT infrastructure is preferred.
Good communication skills, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under supervision.
