Job summary

CLSA is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Execution Services IT to bridge business needs with IT solutions within a global equities trading environment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, CI/CD experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments, vendors, and stakeholders across Hong Kong. Mandarin speaking and travel to ShenZhen may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Business/CS or related field.
• 3–5 years experience as an IT Business Analyst/Developer.
• Equities High Touch, Compliance and Execution Management knowledge.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, FIX protocol; Chronicle Queue; Linux.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business needs with IT solutions across departments.
• Lead IT projects including financial applications, CRM, and AI development.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, map processes, and work with developers for delivery.
• Align with business owners/users, project team, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years experience as an IT Business Analyst / Developer.

• Know Java, SQL, FIX message protocol, Chronicle Queue, Linux
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese
• Able to speak Mandarin and willing to travel to ShenZhen occasionally will be advantageous.
