Job summary

The Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager in its Investment Products Division. You will handle regulatory work, analyse product data, and support policy projects while liaising with stakeholders. A strong legal/economic/finance background and at least three years of relevant experience are required.

Fluency in English and Chinese is essential, with Putonghua a plus. This role offers the chance to contribute to Hong Kong's position as a leading asset

Qualifications

• University degree in Law/Economics/Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in financial services or related industries.
• Exposure in regulatory bodies, asset managers or multinational audit or law firms is preferable.
• Experience in IPO or corporate finance related work, listed company audits and knowledge of Listing Rules is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process applications for authorisation of retail investment products, their offer documents and marketing materials per SFC codes.
• Gather, analyse and monitor investment products data.
• Assist in policy-oriented research and comparative studies on international regulation of investment products.
• Assist in policy projects involving codes and guidelines; support legislative processes.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
