Job summary

AIA Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, NAV production, and vendor governance. You will drive process transformation and automation, leveraging Power Platform and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and control.

Strong English and leadership skills are essential for collaborating across teams and with external providers. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, data-driven decision making, and delivering reliable customer outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in investment operations or related functions.
Strong understanding of NAV oversight, reconciliations, cash management and service provider oversight.
Experience in operational transformation, process improvement, workflow redesign or automation initiatives.
Experience in system implementation, enhancement projects and UAT testing.
Familiarity with investment systems such as Aladdin, Eagle, Citidirect or similar platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience leveraging technology, automation tools or AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated and able to balance BAU with change initiatives.
Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day investment operations, including trade lifecycle management, cash management, reconciliations and corporate actions.
Oversee NAV production, valuation controls and reconciliation processes with external providers.
Vendor management and governance of outsourcing providers, custodians and fund administrators.
Drive operational transformation through process redesign, workflow automation, and system enhancements.
Develop automated management reporting, dashboards and operational metrics.
