Job summary

Howden is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager to join our team in Hong Kong, focusing on Property and Casualty broking for corporate risk and personal lines. The role emphasizes client relationship management, accurate quotations, and governance of policy documents to ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in insurance broking, IIQE Paper 1 & 2, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma with IIQE Paper 1 & 2 is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in insurance broking (corporate and commercial).
• Good understanding of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive client relationships by supporting account servicing, underwriting processes and claims assistance as needed.
• Manage and prepare insurance quotations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee and provide governance on the review and verification of policy documents for new cases and renewals, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insurance advice, address client inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely information to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.
• Assist in Property and Casualty (P&C) broking, including corporate risk and personal lines.
