Client Description

Job Description

• In Wintel platform, design and implement infrastructure solutions for regional projects. The suitable candidate will be hands on and well versed with Windows file shares technologies.
• Consolidate user requirements and work with service owner/security team to translate into the standard/policies/procedural document for file share.
• Provide in depth analysis for file share and provide recommendation for remediation plan and clean up.
• Prepare monthly report on file share remediation work progress.
• Develop script/procedure to stream line the clean-up of file share.
• Lead a virtual team for the consolidation of file shares which are having common purpose (e.g. copy of data store, patching, software installer, etc.).
• Migrate the data from one file share to new file share.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Proven track record on Microsoft Windows file share technologies, directory (ACL, GPO), able to understand effective permission of share & NTFS levels.
• Ability to demonstrate practical experience in implementing and supporting file share services.
• Experienced in file server consolidation and migration.
• Strong understanding of using Powershell/vbscript/Chef to automate the provision of the ACL/share.
• Experienced in documentation policies/procedures.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
