Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support Windows Server and Linux environments.

You will manage upgrades, provide production support, and collaborate with users and vendors on requirements and projects. The role requires hands-on experience with server virtualization, MySQL, AD and SAN, plus a solid background in IT security assessments, monitoring tools, and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Networking or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of IT project management experience.
• At least 3 years of server virtualization, MySQL, and Linux admin.
• At least 3 years of Windows Server & Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Storage Area Network preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, manage and accept IT upgrade projects.
• Provide production support for Linux and Windows servers.
• Support system monitoring tools and password management software.
• Liaise with users and vendors for requirements and implementations.
• Prepare specifications and evaluations for projects.

Infrastructure Engineer (Windows, Linux, over $50K)

Participate in planning, evaluation, management and acceptance for the implementation of new and upgrade projects

Provide production support for Linux and Microsoft Windows server platforms

Provide production support for system monitoring tools and password management software

Liaise with users and vendors for requirement studies, implementation, and support activities

Prepare technical specifications and evaluations for new or upgrade projects

Perform technical troubleshooting

Participate in IT security assessments and audit exercises

Provide on-call technical support and perform other duties as required

Work irregular hours if necessary

About you

Higher Diploma / Degree in Networking or Computer Science

At least 3 years of working experience in project management on IT projects

At least 3 years of working experience in server virtualization technology, MySQL Server & Linux system administration

At least 3 years of working experience in Microsoft Windows server & Active Directory, system implementation and maintenance support

At least 1 year of working experience in Storage Area Network technology (preferred)
