Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Linux administration experience in Hong Kong. The role emphasizes safeguarding systems, proactive monitoring, asset inventory, and rapid incident response, including after-hours on-call support.

You will lead automation of workflows, perform routine maintenance, and maintain clear technical documentation to ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure across servers and virtualization environments.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years in IT industry with Linux system administration.
• Experience in administration, maintenance and support of IT infrastructure (servers/virtualization).
• Experience with Ansible Web eXecutable, Linux OS administration.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools.
• Nice to have: Terraform, Open Source monitoring platforms, visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard system and data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Maintain and update inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Oversee health and performance of systems through monitoring.
• Provide rapid incident response, including on-call outside hours.
• Automate support and operational workflows to improve efficiency.
