Job summary

Shift Happens Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to assist in managing kitchen operations and delivering authentic Indian cuisine. You will support the Head Chef in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring daily operations run smoothly while maintaining high food quality, consistency, and presentation.

The role involves assisting in menu planning, recipe development, and introducing new Indian dishes, with a focus on proper storage, handling and preparation of ingredients.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for Indian culinary traditions.
• Ability to maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English and knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and introducing new Indian dishes.
