Job summary

AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned culinary professional to lead our kitchen operations and deliver high-quality dishes in accordance with standard procedures. You will prepare and cook meals, monitor taste and presentation, and enforce strict food safety and portion standards.

You will assist the Executive Chinese Chef with menu planning and product tastings, maintain consistent quality across all dishes, and supervise staff to ensure efficient, cost-effective

Qualifications

• F.3 or above education level.
• Minimum 10 years solid experience in hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in accordance with standard procedures and recipes.
• Ensure quality, taste, temperature and visual presentation across dishes.
• Maintain food safety by preventing use of spoiled ingredients and excluding ill staff from handling.
• Assist Executive Chinese Chef in planning and developing new menus and promotions; conduct tastings.
• Maintain consistent standards of production and presentation throughout AsiaWorld-Expo.
• Support NUVA Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Supervise kitchen operations to optimise efficiency, productivity and cost while upholding high standards.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
