Job summary

Wah Kwong Shipping Agency Co Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an I.T. Support Specialist to provide L1/L2 helpdesk support and system administration across Hong Kong and remote offices.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MFA, VPN, and ITSM processes, participate in on-call rotations, and drive automation and documentation to improve IT services.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience in IT helpdesk/service desk operations across multiple locations.
• Systems administration experience in Windows desktop and server environments.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, DNS.

Responsibilities

Job description

I.T. Support Specialist (IT Service Desk & System Administrator)

Provide IT service desk L1, L2 support and system administration in Hong Kong and remote offices, including first-level and second-level support for users' desktop PC, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams Phone, video-conference system, Active Directory, SharePoint, MFA, VPN, Copilot, Mobile applications, printing, inhouse-developed applications and other IT systems

System Admin: Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive Deploy and implement ITSM solutions

Manage ITSM processes, including incident management, problem management, patch management, configuration management, IT asset management, backup management, and system monitoring

Manage IT documentation, including creating, reviewing, maintaining, and updating documentation and knowledge base articles

Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements

Participate in on-call support rotations and provide ad hoc IT support as required

Perform other ad hoc projects and duties assigned by management

Requirements:

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 - 8 years of relevant working experience

Experience in IT helpdesk/service desk operations, supporting users across multiple locations globally

Systems administration experience, including Windows desktop and server environments

Familiarity with Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, DNS, and related technologies

Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL processes, including incident management, problem management, patch management, and release management

Experience with SharePoint Online, Mobile Device Management (Intune), and PowerShell

Experience with AWS, ManageEngine, and IMOS is a plus

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively

Working experience in a state-owned enterprise would be an added advantage
