Job summary

Wellington Management Global Holdings Ltd, Hong Kong, is seeking a Client Service Operations Analyst to join the APAC Client Operations team. The role supports day-to-day servicing of client accounts and acts as a key liaison across Global Ops, Trading, Portfolio Implementation, and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in financial services, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams while maintaining risk standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with working knowledge of investment management operations and custodian bank processes.
• Experience in investment operations, including custody and accounting/recordkeeping; exposure to operational risk management environments preferred.
• Solid understanding of capital markets operations, foreign exchange transactions, and their impact on recordkeeping and client portfolios.
• Knowledge of local regulatory regimes and associated operational and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with global stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively across functions and regions.
• Advanced degrees, language skills, and/or progress toward the CFA designation viewed favorably.
• Experience using productivity, automation, or low-code tools (e.g., Copilot, Power Automate, Python, HighGear, Alteryx) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and solutions to client teams by analyzing and resolving complex issues and questions
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, custodians, and global teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Develop breadth of knowledge across investment strategies and market operations, enhancing the firm's ability to serve its clients effectively
• Develop and implement operational solutions and procedures to support new products and services
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and scalability
• Leverage regional expertise, including APAC practices and regulatory expectations, to deliver an operating model for local client needs.
