Job summary

The Edge Partnership – The Edge in Asia is seeking an experienced Operations professional to support portfolio managers across Equities, Convertible Bonds and Equity Derivatives in Hong Kong.

Ideal candidates will come from Prime Brokerage or related post-trade roles with strong APAC market knowledge and hands-on experience in settlements, reconciliations and corporate actions; SQL/VBA and automation experience are advantageous for workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, Middle Office, Client Services or Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Equities, Convertible Bonds, Equity Swaps, EQD and EQT.
• Hands-on experience in Corporate Actions, Settlement, Reconciliations and Post-Trade Operations.
• Client-facing experience with hedge funds, institutional clients or internal trading desks.
• Strong understanding of APAC markets.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, automation or AI tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full trade lifecycle across Equities, Convertible Bonds and Equity Derivatives.
• Oversee Corporate Actions and Asset Servicing events, including mandatory and voluntary actions.
• Perform post-trade activities including trade, position and cash reconciliations.
• Resolve settlement and operational exceptions with brokers and counterparties.
• Act as a key operational contact for Portfolio Managers across APAC.
• Drive process improvements, controls enhancement and operational change initiatives.
• Partner with internal technology teams on workflow automation and strategic projects.

A leading global alternative investment firm is seeking an experienced Operations professional to join its APAC team, supporting Portfolio Managers across Equities, Convertible Bonds and Equity Derivatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates currently working within Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, Middle Office, Client Services, Corporate Actions, Trade Support or Post-Trade Operations environments who are looking to move to the buy side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full trade lifecycle across Equities, Convertible Bonds and Equity Derivatives


• Oversee Corporate Actions and Asset Servicing events, including mandatory and voluntary actions


• Perform post-trade activities including trade, position and cash reconciliations
