Job summary

The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong, is seeking an HR/Administration assistant to support day-to-day clerical tasks and HR processes in a historic Central venue.

You will prepare HR reports, maintain staff records, manage onboarding and payroll for casual staff, handle data management, and assist in staff activities and ad hoc projects. Proficiency in Chinese and English and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or similar industry.
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operations.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese & English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Chinese Word Processing).

Responsibilities

The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong, is unique. Job Duties
  • Provide clerical support for the day-to-day routines;

  • Handle casual staff enrollment, onboarding & payroll process;
  • Responsible for accurate data management;

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage;
  • Diploma holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, strong sense of commitment with "can do" attitude;
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operations;
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and positive attitude towards pressure;
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese & English;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Chinese Word Processing);
