Job summary

The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong, is a premier venue in Central offering dining and recreational facilities while serving as a neutral hub for diverse speakers. This hospitality role involves interacting with members, taking orders, and ensuring high service standards within a historic setting.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year of experience in hotels or clubs, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility for shift duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’ relevant experience in hotels/clubs.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Shift duty is required.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with members, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Present menu and provide detailed information (eg. Portions, allergies).
• Accurate order taking with POS system.
• Ensure all standards procedure for the operation of the Club are followed.
• Comply with food and beverage regulations.
• Assess member needs and preferences and make recommendations.

The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong, is unique. It is probably the most famous press club in the world, it is housed in a beautiful and historic Central location that provides a wealth of first-class yet cost-effective dining and recreational facilities, and it is an important media hub – providing a rare neutral platform for an impressive selection of local and international speakers
