Job summary

Big Bang Academy is seeking an HR Generalist who will handle both HR operations and office administration in a fast-growing startup. You will support the entire employee lifecycle, drive teaching-related recruitment, and nurture our company culture in Hong Kong.

You will partner with managers to design hiring strategies, participate in performance management, and ensure policy compliance with HK regulations. Hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 3-5 years HR and administrative experience, preferably as HR generalist.
• Prior experience in teacher recruitment or education talent hiring preferred.
• Experience in start-up, education, or tech environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance, MPF and Labour Laws.

Responsibilities

• Support full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and offboarding.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment focused on teachers, instructors, tutors and education staff.
• Improve recruitment processes for a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with managers to tailor hiring strategies and manpower planning.
• Assist in implementing performance appraisal framework and related processes.
• Serve as HR partner to address concerns and workplace issues professionally.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programmes for staff growth.
• Review and communicate HR policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
