Hopewell Hotel (Wan Chai) Management Limited invites applications for a Food & Beverage Captain to join our rooms division. The role focuses on ensuring service readiness, presenting menus, and upselling buffet and beverages, while delivering attentive guest experiences.

You will communicate in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin considered a bonus, and work in a full-time, five-day work week at our Wan Chai property. Familiarity with TMS or similar restaurant software is preferred.

Formación

• Preferably with working experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
• Familiar with restaurant management software, such as TMS is preferred.
• Candidate with more experience may consider as Captain.
• 5 Day Work Week

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the assigned section is ready for service before each meal period.
• Present menu and drink list to guests; provide detailed information and explanation when needed.
• Inform guests about the day’s specials/recommended dishes.
• Offer menu recommendations upon request.
• Take accurate orders and communicate order details to kitchen staff.
• Expedite food orders as required and collect orders from the kitchen verifying correctness.
• Check guest satisfaction and address concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Replenish tea, beverages and drinks as needed.
• Set tables with tableware and decorations; clear used items after service.
• Provide excellent service to guests and upsell buffet, specials, and drinks.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
