Job summary

WSP (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Operations Director to join our senior leadership team and drive the performance and operational effectiveness of the business. You will partner with business heads, lead cross-functional operations, and shape strategy across commercial, finance, HR, legal and quality.

The role emphasizes governance, client relations, and continuous improvement to deliver value on major projects.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience within a complex, client-facing organisation.
Proven track record in leading and growing a P&L with strong commercial acumen.
Experience driving operational performance, profitability and budget delivery.
Experience in engineering, professional services, consultancy or client organisations advantageous.

Responsibilities

Partner with Business Line Heads to drive operational excellence, business performance and budget delivery.
Lead the business operational structure across corporate functions.
Develop action plans to achieve SHEQ and financial performance.
Engage directly with key clients, strengthening relationships on major projects.
Drive digital innovation, standardisation and continuous process improvement.
Lead bid and commercial strategies for high-risk opportunities.
Drive resource planning, workload management and utilisation.
Oversee budget, forecasting and KPIs including net revenue, margin, EBITDA and DSO.
Monitor project performance, risks and opportunities with governance.
Foster a culture of operational excellence and share best practices.
Chair monthly and quarterly performance reviews and reporting.
Provide visible leadership and strengthen accountability.
