Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead IT projects across subsidiaries from initiation to delivery. You will coordinate with business and technology teams to ensure milestones, budgets and quality targets are met.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management and continuous improvement, with opportunities to influence project standards and drive enterprise transformation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven project management experience in large-scale implementations across multiple business units.
• Proven experience in managing OPEX cost/budget management.
• Experience delivering IT solutions in aviation, logistics, manufacturing, or other 24x7 environments is highly desirable.
• Exposure to AI, automation, analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to handle resistance and align diverse stakeholders toward common objectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
• Ability to engage and guide senior management in Project Steering Committee decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion within agreed timelines, budget and scope.
• Develop project plans, resource requirements and delivery approaches to achieve objectives.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive innovation and strategic outcomes.
• Manage and motivate project teams, providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budgets, costs, risks and dependencies with governance and reporting.
• Deliver technology initiatives supporting operational sustainability and continuous service improvement.
• Apply PM best practices and contribute to standard improvements across IT.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues clearly and support mitigation plans.
• Foster continuous learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing within teams.
• Coach and mentor team members and vendors for high performance.
