Job summary

OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior leader to head Platform Excellence within the Digital Business team in Consumer Financial Services. You will define the experience roadmap across onboarding, discovery, and platform engagement, while shaping a compliant, customer-focused digital journey across HKMO markets.

You will lead a cross-functional team of product, design, engineering, risk and compliance professionals, driving transformation, growth and measurable performance

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, platform operations, or digital onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Define the experience and capability roadmap across onboarding, discovery, and platform engagement journeys.
• Drive simplification and speed in digital onboarding processes while meeting in-country compliance standards
• Shape discovery flows that allow customers to easily explore and activate products, services, and rewards — leading to deeper engagement.
• Ensure consistency and responsiveness across every user touchpoint on the platform
• Oversee all digital journeys and ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements
• Embed risk controls, audit trails, and proactive governance into onboarding and servicing workflows.
• Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure readiness for inspections and digital product launches.
• Lead or support incident reviews, regulatory responses, and mitigation planning related to digital channels.
• Monitor and improve key funnel metrics: onboarding conversion, drop-off points, time-to-activate, rewards participation, compliance flags, etc.
• Implement feedback loops, testing protocols, and continuous improvement across platform experiences.
• Ensure strong operational processes around SLA management, vendor governance, and platform availability.
• Act as the voice of onboarding, discovery, and regulatory UX within all platform and product design forums.
• Partner deeply with Group Digital, Product, Engineering, UX, Legal & Compliance, Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Operations.
• Represent Platform Excellence in senior leadership discussions and strategy reviews for Hong Kong and Macau.
• Lead and grow a cross-functional team spanning product owners, delivery managers, designers, and risk specialists.
