Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd seeks a vision-driven Head of Digital Management to lead the digital payment services and platform for Wealth and Retail Banking in Hong Kong. The role focuses on driving growth, adoption, and a seamless customer experience across mobile and web channels.

The incumbent will own the strategy, roadmap, and commercial outcomes for payment capabilities (P2P, wallets, FPS, cross-border, merchant payments) while ensuring robust release management and alignment

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership in digital, payments and retail banking.
• Proven track record defining strategy and delivering large-scale digital initiatives.
• Deep expertise in HK and international payment landscape (FPS, SWIFT, RTGS, wallets).
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving growth and monetisation.
• Experience managing digital platforms and upstream/downstream systems.
• Familiar with authentication solutions an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end digital payment strategy and performance for HK Wealth & Retail Banking.
• Own vision, roadmap and commercial outcomes for digital payment capabilities.
• Drive market leadership in digital payments across mobile and web channels.
• Act as senior accountable executive for digital payment growth, partnerships, and risk governance.
• Build and lead a high-performing payments team across functions.
• Oversee the Digital Platform Team for release and change management with regulators.
