Management Trainee (MT) Programme (24 months)

A fast-track programme for early-career talent who want more possibilities from day one - broader exposure, steeper learning, and a clear runway to leadership. You'll be immersed in a fast-paced 24-month programme that accelerates your development through hands-on experience, cross-functional exposure and world-class learning that builds the skills that matter.

You'll build a strong understanding of Hang Seng's purpose, values and strategy - how we make decisions, serve customers, and deliver sustainable growth. Through bank-wide projects and hands-on experience, you'll strengthen your commercial and leadership mindset while working on key growth priorities, including AI and digital innovation, and opportunities linked to Hong Kong-Mainland connectivity and development.

You'll develop core competencies in one of the following business streams:

Commercial Banking

Global Markets

Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited

Retail Banking and Wealth

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

Be available to work full time from July 2027 onwards

Have obtained, or be expected to achieve, a 2:1 Degree classification or higher or overseas equivalent to this

Will have completed studies by July 2027

Be a recent graduate with less than 3 years' full-time work experience, or be due tograduate by July 2027

Be fluent in English, knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an advantage

Be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
