Job summary

Hang Seng Bank Limited is launching a Management Trainee (MT) Programme in Global Markets, starting July 2027 in Central, Hong Kong Island. The two-year, fast-track programme offers hands-on experience, cross-functional exposure, and world-class learning to build leadership and commercial capabilities.

You will rotate through business streams including Global Markets and Commercial Banking, with emphasis on AI and digital innovation, while developing strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese knowledge is an advantage.
• Must be a recent graduate or expect to graduate by July 2027.
• Be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong.

Management Trainee (MT) Programme (24 months)

Through bank-wide projects and hands‑on experience, you’ll strengthen your commercial and leadership mindset while working on key growth priorities, including AI and digital innovation, and opportunities linked to Hong Kong–Mainland connectivity and development.

You’ll develop core competencies in one of the followingbusiness streams:

• Commercial Banking
• Global Markets
• Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited
• Retail Banking and Wealth

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time from July 2027 onwards
• Have obtained, or be expected to achieve, a 2:1 Degree classification or higher or overseas equivalent to this
• Will have completed studies by July 2027
• Be a recent graduate with less than 3 years’ full‑time work experience, or be due to graduate by July 2027
• Be fluent in English, knowledge of Mandarin/Cantonese would be an advantage
• Be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
