Job summary

The Repulse Bay is seeking a Receptionist to support the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department in Hong Kong. You will welcome guests on arrival, manage seating for walk‑ins and reservations, answer calls and emails, and promote menu and promotions to maximise sales.

Fluent English and Chinese are preferred, with hospitality experience and a certificate in F&B operations meeting the job requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Experience using SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms is desirable.
• Holder of a Certificate in Food and Beverage Operations
• Good sense of customer services and ability to work under pressure.
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities

• Receive and welcome all guests to the restaurant
• Allocate tables for walk‑in guests or according to advance booking requirements, escort them to their seats, and ensure their seating arrangements are satisfactory
• Answer telephone calls and emails, handle enquiries and reservations, and provide prompt and professional service
• Acquire in‑depth knowledge of the menu, wine list, and any special promotions in order to make appropriate recommendations and maximise sales
