Job description

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of growth-focused backend systems, building large-scale software infrastructure to support key growth initiatives.

• Communicate effectively with product managers, business stakeholders, and operations teams to understand requirements, design product features, and drive alignment on growth strategy and priorities.

• Identify and execute on key growth levers through data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement growth initiatives and measure impact.

• Performance tuning, online incident troubleshooting, system refactoring, and architecture design to ensure scalability and reliability of growth systems.

• Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices. Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with a full lifecycle of backend system development. Strong foundation in Core Java, server-side technologies, and Spring frameworks. Deep knowledge of event processing, multi-threading, enterprise integration patterns, Web Services and REST architecture.

• Extensive experience working on backend systems at large internet companies. Performance optimization experience with JVM, SQL, RPC, and system-level tuning.

• Deep expertise in growth methodologies with hands-on experience in growth, user operations, or product roles. Strong data analysis and business acumen to drive growth initiatives from conception through execution.

• Hands‑on technical leadership with over 50% time spent writing code. Ability to mentor junior developers, establish technical standards, and build high‑performing teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to influence across product, business, and operations teams. Preferred background at top‑tier internet or Web3 companies.

• Experience in AI applications and full-stack capabilities including frontend frameworks is a bonus.
