Job summary

ADECCO Personnel Limited is hiring an Assistant Financial Services Manager / General Banking Officer in Hong Kong. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, promoting a broad range of banking products and proactively acquiring new customers.

The successful candidate will understand customers’ needs to recommend suitable products, coordinate with colleagues and departments, and participate in promotional activities while ensuring compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 1–2 years’ experience, or secondary education with 3–4 years of frontline branch customer service experience.
• Completion of IIQE Papers 1, 2, and 3.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets
• Handle a wide range of banking products, including CASA, unsecured lending, mortgages, insurance, and credit cards
• Proactively acquire new customers through direct sales efforts
• Identify and understand customers’ financial needs to effectively recommend suitable products
• Refer sales opportunities to branch colleagues or other departments when appropriate
• Participate in branch-led or external promotional and marketing activities
• Collaborate with product specialists to deliver comprehensive customer solutions
• Ensure all operational processes are carried out in full compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures
