Job summary

Animoca Brands Corporation Limited seeks an Assistant Manager, Group Reporting to drive the group’s consolidated financial reporting and audit processes. You will ensure IFRS compliance and coordinate audits across a multi-entity structure, delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with regional finance teams, strengthen internal controls, and guide junior staff while navigating a fast-growing blockchain and gaming ecosystem in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including significant experience in financial reporting and audit (Big 4 or equivalent highly valued).
• Expert knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, with proven experience in complex reporting, ideally with digital assets, gaming, or technology sectors.
• Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP/accounting systems is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced data analysis functions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across the organization.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; interest in blockchain, Web3, and digital entertainment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation and prepare timely, accurate group financial statements per IFRS.
• Oversee the group audit process, coordinating with external auditors and resolving queries.
• Analyze group results, provide variance analysis and actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and drive process improvements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and group reporting processes for digital assets and revenue from gaming and blockchain activities.
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning in a high-growth environment.
