Job summary

Animoca Brands Corporation Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Associate to manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting for a diverse portfolio, including month-end and quarter-end close, and to gain exposure to Web3 accounting, digital assets, and on-chain reconciliation.

You will oversee full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 entities across multiple jurisdictions, liaise with auditors, and mentor junior staff while upholding accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience, mix of Big 4 audit and commercial accounting preferred.
• CPA/QP candidate is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle/NetSuite/Expensify) and MS Office.
• Strong written and spoken English and meticulous work style.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and prepare accounting memos.
• Manage full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Handle daily accounting operations including subsidiary funding and cost recharges.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and updated in the accounting system.
• Verify invoices and agreements with proper supporting documents.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.
• Record cryptocurrency payments and reconcile with on-chain transactions.
• Develop accounting policies and assist in process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance as needed.
