Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Vuly Trampolines Pty is seeking an operations leader to own everything between a finished design and stock ready for sale in our markets. You will manage global inventory, production planning, supplier performance, and cross-functional coordination across R&D, testing, tooling, and production.
You bring a strong background in production and product operations for international consumer goods, hands-on experience with Chinese manufacturers, and a solid grasp of landed cost, supplier negotiation
The gap between design and delivery is yours to close.
Vuly designs and sells trampolines, swing sets and play equipment to families around the world. We’re expanding our product-development capability across Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and we need an operations leader to own everything between a finished design and stock that’s ready to sell in our markets.
What you’ll actually do
Own global inventory and production planning, turning demand into manufacturing schedules that land stock on time in every market
Set the standard for supplier performance, hold suppliers to it and resolve problems through to completion
Coordinate R&D, testing, tooling and production so new products reach mass production without costly surprises
Lead global product quality and safety, working with our safety engineers and technical specialists on testing, audits and compliance
Drive product and landed-cost efficiency across materials, tooling, manufacturing, packaging and freight
Feed manufacturing, cost and safety realities back into design decisions early
Make sure products arrive on time, in the required quantities and ready for sale
What you’ll bring – essential
You’ve personally led production and product operations for physical consumer products in a growing international business
A strong production, R&D and product background, with a clear understanding of how design decisions affect manufacturing, safety, quality, cost and delivery
Hands-on experience managing manufacturers in China, including tooling and new product introduction
Commercial confidence with landed cost, supplier negotiation and inventory
The willingness to challenge suppliers directly and see problems through to the end
Strong written English and a calm, direct communication style
Experience with outdoor, sporting, kids or toy products and their safety standards
An engineering, industrial design or manufacturing background
How you’ll work
You’ll report to the founder and work alongside the COO, CPDO, R&D, industrial design, product safety and our Shenzhen team. The COO keeps ownership of operations once products land in market. Your mandate is everything before that point. You’ll be based in Hong Kong and travel frequently to mainland China. Time in Shenzhen and at supplier facilities is a core part of the role, not an occasional visit.
What we offer
A newly created role with end-to-end ownership from design to delivery
Direct influence on the products and expansion of an international brand
Frequent travel to our Shenzhen team and suppliers across China, plus our global offices
Remuneration that reflects your experience and responsibility
