Job summary

Vuly Trampolines Pty is seeking an operations leader to own everything between a finished design and stock ready for sale in our markets. You will manage global inventory, production planning, supplier performance, and cross-functional coordination across R&D, testing, tooling, and production.

You bring a strong background in production and product operations for international consumer goods, hands-on experience with Chinese manufacturers, and a solid grasp of landed cost, supplier negotiation

Qualifications

• You have led production and product operations for physical consumer products in a growing international business.
• Strong background in production, R&D and product with understanding of design-to-manufacture tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience managing manufacturers in China, including tooling and NPI (new product introduction).
• Commercial confidence with landed cost, supplier negotiation and inventory management.
• Willingness to challenge suppliers and see issues through to resolution.
• Excellent written English and direct communication style.

Responsibilities

• Own global inventory and production planning to land stock on time in every market.
• Set supplier performance standards and drive improvements to completion.
• Coordinate R&D, testing, tooling and production for smooth mass production.
• Lead global product quality and safety with engineers and safety specialists.
• Improve landed cost efficiency across materials, tooling, manufacturing, packaging and freight.
• Provide manufacturing and cost feedback to design decisions early.
• Ensure products arrive on time, in the right quantities, ready for sale.
