Job summary

CYCMOTOR Group seeks a Hong Kong-based Group Chief Operating Officer to strengthen global execution and lead digital transformation across brands and regions. You will oversee Operations, BD, Marketing, enterprise IT/AI, and HR/Administration while partnering with the CFO and CTO.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in senior operating roles, with experience in technology, manufacturing or powersports, and hands-on ERP/CRM/WMS modernization. Hong Kong-based with regular Mainland China travel.

Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) — Global Operations & Digital Transformation

CYC Group is a technology and electric-mobility business operating through CYCMOTOR, EBMX, Bonnell and Ristretto. Our portfolio spans high-performance motors, controllers, battery systems and complete electric bicycles and e-motorcycles. With offices in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Australia and the United States, we combine in-house technology development with a global network of manufacturing and distribution partners.

We are seeking a Hong Kong-based Group Chief Operating Officer to strengthen global execution, lead digital transformation and build the operating capabilities required for our next stage of growth.

The opportunity

Reporting directly to the Chairman, you will lead the Group's Operations, Business Development, Marketing, enterprise IT/AI, and HR/Administration functions across brands and regions. Working closely with the CFO, CTO and other executive leaders, you will translate strategy into measurable results, develop capable leadership teams and establish scalable processes, systems and controls.

This role suits a hands-on executive who combines international operating experience, commercial judgment and a proven track record of enterprise technology transformation.

Key responsibilities

Lead integrated global execution: Translate Group strategy into operating plans, priorities, budgets and KPIs; strengthen accountability and collaboration across brands, functions and locations.

Scale operations and supply chain: Oversee sourcing, procurement, contract-manufacturer performance, production planning, inventory, logistics, fulfilment and customer support through functional and regional leaders.

Drive commercial performance: Lead BD and Marketing teams in executing channel, dealer, distributor, OEM and brand-growth plans; improve pipeline visibility, forecast quality and coordination between demand and delivery.

Deliver enterprise IT and AI transformation: Lead the roadmap for ERP, CRM, warehouse/3PL, e-commerce, service and management-data integration. Deploy practical AI and automation with measurable productivity, accuracy and service improvements.

Partner closely with Finance: Work with the CFO on business planning, cost discipline, working capital, performance reporting and resource allocation, supporting profitable and sustainable growth.

Strengthen governance and IPO readiness: Coordinate operational and IT-control workstreams with the CFO and external advisers; improve process documentation, audit trails, management information and remediation of control gaps.

Develop the organisation: Lead workforce planning, leadership development, performance management and HR/Admin execution; build empowered managers and clear decision-making responsibilities.

Maintain operational resilience: Strengthen quality, safety, information-security, supplier and business-continuity controls, working with the relevant technical and professional specialists.

What we are looking for

Typically 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in senior operating leadership; equivalent demonstrable achievements will be considered.

Proven leadership of multiple functions and geographically distributed teams in technology, hardware, manufacturing, automotive, powersports, consumer electronics or a related sector.

Strong experience with Mainland China supply chains or contracted manufacturing, alongside international distribution, fulfilment or channel operations.

Hands-on enterprise-system transformation experience involving ERP, CRM, WMS or comparable platforms, with clear responsibility for implementation, integration and user adoption.

Demonstrated AI or automation delivery in business operations, with measurable outcomes and an understanding of data quality, security, workflow controls and change management.

Experience strengthening operational and IT controls for an IPO, listed-company environment or comparable external-control review. Direct IPO involvement and Hong Kong listing experience are strong advantages.

Strong financial and commercial understanding, including P&L, working capital, inventory, contribution margins and management reporting; able to partner effectively with a CFO.

An analytical, decisive and collaborative leadership style, with the ability to operate effectively in a founder-led, scaling business.

Professional English and Chinese communication skills; Mandarin is important for Mainland operations and Cantonese is an advantage.

A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience; an MBA or relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.

Willingness to be based in Hong Kong and travel regularly to Mainland China, Australia, the United States and other priority markets.

A senior executive role with direct access to the Chairman and meaningful influence over Group execution.
