Job summary

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) invites a dynamic professional to join its Business Planning and Digital Business Department under the Consumer Goods and Lifestyle Cluster, to help strengthen Hong Kong’s role as Asia’s international business platform.

Responsibilities include providing onsite operations and logistics support for trade fairs, coordinating with external parties and internal teams on technical arrangements, and preparing materials and briefings for events.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years' working experience.
• Proactive, well-organised, self-motivated, efficient, responsible and detail-minded, able to work under pressure and tight deadline.
• Excellent co-ordination and interpersonal skills, tactful in dealing with all levels of people.
• Be flexible and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for onsite operations and logistics during trade and public fairs to ensure smooth event delivery and a high-quality participant experience.
• Coordinate with external parties and internal departments on technical arrangements for buyer registration, briefing sessions and related event activities.
• Proofread and follow up on graphics and artwork for event setup, including backdrops, signage and displays.
• Prepare buyer badges and printed materials, and produce eDMs, including content development and performance monitoring.
• Liaise with service providers on the recruitment and management of temporary staff and other outsourced services.
• Conduct briefings for onsite temporary staff and prepare related briefing materials.
• Handle enquiries from exhibitors, buyers and other event participants in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in desktop research, market intelligence gathering, preparation of reports and presentations, and post-event evaluations.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, documentation management and coordination across teams.
