Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Strategic Supply Chain to lead the pricing lifecycle for complex global accounts, focusing on material costs, New Product Introduction (NPI), pricing rollouts and quote validation.

The role requires strategic oversight and cross-functional collaboration to ensure competitive, auditable pricing across regions. You will coordinate with Sourcing, Engineering and Finance, manage multi-region timing (Asia/US), and drive price baselines, risk mitigation and data

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of global market conditions and supply/demand volatility.
• Ability to manipulate and audit large data sets using MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data visualization).
• Proven ability to influence and drive results through cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, etc.).
• Ability to deconstruct complex BOM structures and identify cost-saving opportunities or errors.
• High-level negotiation and presentation skills; defend pricing strategies to external customers.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strict baseline tracking and price justification approach.

Responsibilities

• Matrix manage cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, Commodity Management) to expedite quotes and meet deadlines.
• Analyze and challenge internal cost inputs; validate quotes against market benchmarks before presentation.
• Lead pricing strategy for NPI projects from bid to Mass Production.
• Establish tracking methods to maintain price baselines over long cycles; maintain justification logs.
• Leverage commodity market knowledge to predict BOM impacts and advise on risk mitigation.
• Direct setup and analysis of complex, multi-level BOMs in high-volume data environments.
• Manage RMS data to ensure cost recoveries are captured and reported.
• Serve as lead contact for external procurement leads and internal executives.
• Lead and attend critical sync meetings across Asia and US time zones.
