Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Strategic Supply Chain 2 in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end supply chain activities for key customers. You will direct sourcing, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration across global sites to optimize delivery and costs.

The role requires extensive SCM knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage high-value commodity negotiations while ensuring regulatory compliance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment, materials and processes.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of global supply chain management, demand planning, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management.
• Knowledge and application of continuous improvement principles including lean, six sigma, 8D, DFM, Kaizen events.
• Strong knowledge in all areas of import / export, regulatory and logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership oversight for all SCM related matters for customer(s).
• Supports management of materials availability to support build plans throughout the product life cycle.
• Drives supplier development to meet current and future business needs.
• Supports efforts to reduce material cost and assess/respond to supply risks.
• Coordinates response on SCM customer enquiries.
• Participates in business process improvements to achieve inventory targets.
