Job summary

Cathay Pacific Group seeks a seasoned Head of Global Business Services, People Services, to oversee end-to-end employee services across the group. You will lead onboarding, mobility, benefits and offboarding while ensuring accurate data and regulatory compliance.

As a member of the GBS leadership team, you will build a high-performing, customer-focused team, drive transformation, governance and digital enablement, and partner with business units to deliver value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading a support service in a large organisation.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Postgraduate qualifications in HR, Lean, Six Sigma or change management are advantageous.
• Substantial leadership experience in People Services, HR operations or shared services.
• Proven track record delivering customer-focused services with governance, risk and control discipline.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional transformation and measurable productivity gains.
• Strong understanding of digital service delivery, automation, self-service and data-led performance management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience in business planning, budgeting and resource optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; ability to influence senior leaders.
• Inclusive and empowering leadership style; ability to lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of reliable, timely, high-quality People Services and set clear service standards; use data to improve employee experience.
• Drive CSAT and SLA performance while maintaining operational resilience.
• Build trusted partnerships with People, service delivery teams and other units to streamline workflows and optimise processes.
• Represent GBS in strategic initiatives, including HRMS projects and prioritising service improvements.
• Modernise ways of working; champion digitisation and adoption of digital tools; deliver technology-enabled solutions including self-service.
• Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and related methodologies.
• Communicate clearly to stakeholders; ensure new processes are adopted and sustained.
• Build, coach and empower a diverse leadership team across geographies; develop capabilities for a digital GBS operating model.
