Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Hong Kong is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Advisor to be the primary contact for customers, delivering commercial guidance and managing orders. You will ensure timely updates and proactive service to maximize satisfaction and growth.

You will follow up quotes, promote campaigns, and collaborate with Sales to convert opportunities into orders while maintaining accurate information flow and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Interest/experience in the shipping industry and marine products.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the customers, understanding and supporting decision makers’ needs and be their main contact in WSS Customer Service.
• Advise and support customers on what, why, when and where to buy through good commercial guidance.
• Keep customers informed of changes in order delivery status, surcharges and other relevant information.
• Ensure timely and accurate order management, keeping customers updated and proactively managing issues.
• Proactively identify, plan and follow up open quotes to convert into orders.
• Utilize tools and customer knowledge to leverage insights for value and growth.
• Capture leads and follow up in collaboration with Sales to drive opportunities.
• Promote selected sales campaigns, promotions and initiatives to customers.
• Process high-value inquiries and orders per global processes and targets.
• Be an active member of the Sales team for the account portfolio.
