Job summary

Chubb Life seeks a senior AI engineering leader to own the AI platform globally across 8 Asian markets, delivering production AI solutions and setting engineering standards.

You will manage GPU infrastructure and LLM services, drive end-to-end AI product delivery, and coach a team of AI engineers while aligning with Analytics.

This role defines guardrails, modern AI practices, and scalable adoption across business units.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in software or AI/ML engineering.
• 4+ years leading AI/ML teams at scale.
• Hands-on in LLM/GenAI engineering: prompt pipelines, RAG architectures, agentic frameworks, fine-tuning workflows.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure, model serving platforms, and LLMOps tooling.
• Strong command of Azure, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and cloud-native AI services.
• Track record of shipping production AI applications in regulated industries.
• Strong engineering leadership, sets direction, builds culture, and coaches without micromanaging.
• Bachelor’s or master’s in CS/Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI engineering function globally, owning the AI platform and standards.
• Own AI Platform and Infrastructure, including GPU compute and LLMs.
• Build and operate LLMOps/MLOps pipelines for deployment, versioning, monitoring, and rollback.
• Govern platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency across Azure and GPU workloads.
• Own end-to-end engineering delivery of Chubb Life's AI applications.
• Translate model specs into production-grade applications and AI products.
• Define hiring profiles, team structure, and career pathways.
• Lead coordination with Analytics and stakeholders to scope and deliver initiatives.
• Define handoff protocols and ensure production packaging of validated artifacts.
